Like a lot of good business stories, our company started with a single guy and a truck. He started a moving and storage company in 1918. Communities were smaller back then, and as he was one of the few people with the ability to transport coal to those that needed it to heat their homes.
As heating oil furnaces started replacing the old coal furnaces, we transitioned into a home heating oil delivery company.
Eventually, we started selling motor fuel to customers. Originally via the honor system, our customers wrote down who they were and how much fuel they put into their vehicle. At the end of the month we would tally up the hand written logs and bill our customers. As technology improved, we later became a Pacific Pride in the 80’s. This has been our sole focus since.
